Diana LaSalle founded DLA in 2002 as an extension of her book, Priceless:
Turning Ordinary Products into Extraordinary Experiences, published by Harvard
Business School Press. The book, co-authored with Terry Britton, is a tactical
guide to enhancing any product or service with value-adding experiences. It's
the first book of its kind to provide a holistic view of the relationship
between company and customer.
Diana emphasizes that rather than being a classic "consulting" organization,
DLA provides training, education, inspiration, and guidance to organizations on
the journey to becoming experience-based. She offers workshops, keynotes,
customer experience audits and executive and team coaching focused on the most
important element of every business, the customer.
When needed, DLA also draws on experienced professionals trained in the
concepts presented in Priceless to provide targeted expertise. Serving as
team leaders, these professionals come from fields such as organizational
development, process engineering, strategic planning, environment management,
interior design, qualitative research, women-focused markets, and trends.
